Miso Glazed Asparagus

Ingredients

asparagus

garlic
finely minced

butter

tbsp
miso paste
1
tsp
honey
1
tbsp
sesame seeds
toasted
fresh cracked pepper
for garnish
poached egg
optional, for garnish
Instructions
In a saute pan, melt butter and minced garlic.
When butter has completely melted and garlic becomes golden, whisk in miso paste and honey until completely dissolved.
Saute asparagus for 3-5 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from heat.
Plate asparagus spears and spoon remaining miso glaze over spears. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds, fresh black pepper and poached egg.
