Salmon Wasabi Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp wasabi paste or wasabi powder
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • smoked salmon
  • cucumber thinly sliced
  • scallions thinly sliced
  • sesame seeds
  • seaweed strips

Instructions

  • Boil eggs for at least 10 minutes. Remove eggs and place them in an ice bowl for at least five minutes. Once cooled, carefully peel shells off.
  • Slice hardboiled eggs in half. Scoop out yolks and place in separate bowl. Clean any remaining yolks off egg whites with a damp paper towel.
  • Add mayonnaise, wasabi, and ginger to yolks and mix until firm paste forms. Spoon or pipe onto egg whites.
  • Garnish with smoked salmon, cucumber, scallions, sesame seeds and seaweed strips.

Notes

Eggs can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
